Chicken Caccatori


  • ¼ cup Oil
  • 1kg Chicken
  • 2 med Chopped onion
  • 1 clove Crushed garlic
  • 140g can Tomato paste
  • 425g can Peeled tomatoes
  • ½ tea Salt
  • ¼ teas Pepper
  • 1 tea Oregano
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • ¼ cup Dry white whine
  • 300mL Chicken stock


Brown chicken, remove from pan; add onions & garlic, return chicken to pan; add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer. Cook for 1 hour. Serve with noodles sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
