Fruit Cake
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup Mixed fruit
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 125g Butter
- 1 teas Mixed spice
- ½ teas Salt
- Lemon Peel
- 2 cups SR Flour
- 1 teas Baking Soda
Procedure
- Place mixed fruit (well mashed), sugar, water, butter, mixed spice, salt and lemon peel in a saucepan and boil for 10 minutes.
- Let cool then add flour and soda.
- Bake in a moderate oven.
