Cultivar - Purple Climber

  • Climbing bean
  • Hardy
  • Can grow all year round, but easiest yields per the Planting Months table. Only in the shade and with protection from other plants (bean fly will damage the plant) outside this range.
  • Not stringy, but like all beans better picked when younger
  • Seed collection and drying for replanting is easily done

Seed Saving Tips

Grow extra plants dedicated to seed saving. Best done during drier months to avoid mold infecting and poisoning the seeds. Allow to dry on the vine, and pick dry pods as they mature, save in paper packet.
