Pea & Ham Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Split peas
  • 3 Onions, chopped
  • 3 Carrots
  • 4 Celery stalks
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 12 Peppercorns
  • ½ Large ham bones
  • 2L Water, approx.

Procedure

Boil bones, pick off meat and remove bones. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer with lid on 2-3 hours. Season to taste. Puree.
