Ingredients
1 ½ cup Mixed fruit
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Water
125g Butter
1 teas Mixed spice
½ teas Salt
Lemon Peel
2 cups SR Flour
1 teas Baking Soda
Procedure
Place mixed fruit (well mashed), sugar, water, butter, mixed spice, salt and lemon peel in a saucepan and boil for 10 minutes.
Let cool then add flour and soda.
Bake in a moderate oven.
