====== Baked Custard ====== ===== Ingredients ===== * 3 Eggs * 600mL Milk * 2-3 tab Sugar * Taste Vanilla * ½ tea Butter * Taste Nutmeg ===== Procedure ===== Beat eggs well then add milk, sugar and vanilla. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Strain into a greased pie dish. Place small pieces of butter on top. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Stand in a baking dish of water and bake in a slow oven until set. Serve chilled with fruit. ==== For bread and butter pudding ==== Spread bread lightly with butter and jam, remove crusts and cut into triangles. Arrange on top of custard mixture.
